Built-in PD Sensor
Ultra-high frequency (UHF) partial discharge detection technology is a technique used to monitor partial discharge phenomena in high-voltage electrical equipment. When partial discharge occurs within the insulation of power equipment, due to its high insulation strength and breakdown field strength, steep pulse currents are generated, which excite electromagnetic waves with frequencies up to several gigahertz. UHF partial discharge detection is based on this principle, utilizing UHF sensors to receive these ultra-high-frequency electromagnetic wave signals, thereby obtaining relevant information about the partial discharge.
