1、Charging methods of new energy vehicles There are generally three charging methods for new energy vehicles: 1) Conventional charging method: Charging the power battery with (380V/220V) alternating current by means of fixed charging piles or portable chargers with the vehicle. 2) Fast charging method: Charging by means of high-voltage and high-current pulsed direct current by using the fast charging function of fixed charging piles, the fast charging function can charge the battery to about 80% in a relatively short time. The fast charging function can charge the battery to about 80% within a short period of time. The fast charging method is an emergency method, which is detrimental to the life of the power battery and is recommended to be used sparingly. 3) Mechanical replacement method: replacing a battery pack with a fully charged battery pack that is too low to achieve a full charge within a short period of time, but this method is limited by the battery specifications, make and model, etc.

2、Charging connection of new energy vehicles When using a charging post for charging, the plug (charging gun) must be connected firmly and the latch must be securely because of the high energy when charging. It is important that the plug (charging gun) is firmly connected and the latch must be locked, otherwise it is easy to burn the socket due to a loose connector. In addition, when using the car charger charging, the power cord cross-sectional area should be greater than 2.5 square millimetres, connected to the power socket for 220V/16A. It should be noted that when charging begins, the charging line should be connected first, and then open the power supply to send electricity, after charging is completed, the power should be turned off before pulling the charging gun to ensure safe operation.

3、New energy vehicle charging precautions New energy vehicle charging voltage is high and current is high. Electricity safety is particularly important, so the switch on the car should be turned off when charging. Avoid charging under direct sunlight in summer or high temperatures after long hours of driving, and avoid charging in wet open air without shade or in heavy rain. When charging, stay away from flammable and explosive substances and equipment with electromagnetic influence, regulate the operation and pay attention to safety.
