FAQs of EV Charging Socket

Which electric vehicles is it compatible with?

EV Charging Socket is compatible with most electric vehicles on the market that meet international charging standards, including models conforming to Chinese national standards (GB/T), European standards (Type 2), and American standards (SAE J1772). Please confirm your vehicle's charging port standard before purchasing.

Can it be installed outdoors?

Yes. This product is waterproof and dustproof (IP rating see specific model), but it is recommended to use a protective cover to extend its lifespan.


How do I check the charging status?

The EV charging socket has an LED status indicator light on the side, showing standby, charging, and fault status. Please refer to the instruction manual for specific colors and flashing patterns.


What is the maximum supported power?

Depending on the model, it supports AC charging from 3.7kW (single-phase) to 22kW (three-phase). Some models support DC fast charging (specific specifications need to be confirmed).


Will it overheat during charging?

The product has a built-in temperature sensor and overload protection. If the temperature is abnormal, it will automatically reduce the charging speed or cut off the power to ensure safety.


What safety protections are included?

Equipped with overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, leakage current protection (RCD), lightning protection, and electric shock protection, meeting national safety certifications.


How to clean and maintain it daily?

Please wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Do not rinse directly with water or use chemical solvents. Regularly check the interfaces for foreign objects or damage.


Is it safe for children to access?

The socket has an electric shock shield; the interface is not live when the charging gun is not connected. However, it is still recommended to install it in a location out of reach of children.


What should I do if the indicator light keeps flashing red?

This indicates a fault (such as abnormal grounding, overheating, etc.). Please disconnect the power and contact after-sales service or a professional electrician for inspection.

Is it compatible with older electric vehicles?
